KickOn Ranch
Oak woodlands, grasslands, and scrub vegetation that provides breeding and sheltering habitat for California tiger salamander and other special status species. Much of the surrounding area has been converted to vineyards and oil fields in recent years.

Outcome:
The owner donated a conservation easement over a 400-acre portion of the ranch to the Land Trust for Santa Barbara County in 2015 and additional easement transactions are planned.
