The property includes nearly level farmland with prime soils.  The southern portion of the property is bisected by Highway 12 while Highway 160 borders the north side of the farm.

An agricultural conservation easement was recorded over a 295-acre portion of the property as mitigation for a development project within the City of Elk Grove.
